Jackie Stewart, Haas Racing L&M Lola-Chevrolet T260, 1971 Can Am Championship, Watkins Glen

Stewart wasn’t seen much outside of F1 racing but in ‘71 he did a full season of Can Am racing for Carl Haas, driving the Lola-Chevrolet against the mighty McLarens of Denny Hulme & Peter Revson
Stewart’s talent made it possible to win several races, but bad luck saw him finish 3rd in the championship behind the McLaren duo
